                                 Sitting on a mat
                                 Wearing a hat
                                  Watching a rat.
            



 [ e]       It's a hen                            [u]   It's a bull
            Holding a pen                             That's very full,  
              Counting to ten                            Covered in wood
            Again and again.                         And trying to pull

[i:]        It's a bee                             [u:]   It's a goose        
             Sitting in a tree                           Sitting on a moose
             Drinking tea                               On the loose 
             By the sea.                                  Wearing a noose

[ɪ]      "Tick-tock, tick-tock",           [ͻ]   It's a cock
           Ticks Tommy's clock.                  Standing on a rock
          "Tick, tock, tick-tock",                  Wearing a sock
           Ticks and ticks his clock.              Looking at a clock

[з:]        It's a bird                            [a:]   It's a shark
             Looking absurd                          Swimming in a park        
             Saying a word                            In the dark
             And eating curd                          For a lark

[ͻɪ]       It's a nasty boy                   [əu]   It's a goat
            Whose name is Roy                     Sitting in a boat
            Who loves to annoy                     Wearing a coat
            And is destroying a toy.               Reading a note.

[aɪ]        It's a fly,                            [ɛə]   It's a bear
             Wearing a tie,                             Sitting on a chair. 
             Holding a pie,                             Combing its hair
             Waving good-bye.                      And holding a pear.


 [ ɒ]       This is a dog,                    [ w]  Why do you cry, Willie?
 [ a:]      He growls at a frog,                   Why do you cry?
              His name is Mark,                    Why, Willy? Why, Willy?
              He likes to bark.                       Why, Willy? Why?
