Objectives:
-to revise the vocabulary on the topic “Collecting things” and use it in speech;
 -to develop pupils’ speaking and listening skill on the topic;
 -to encourage pupils to work in pairs;
-to revise comparisons of adjectives;
-to develop pupils’ interest on the topic “Collecting things”.
Equipments: textbook by O.Karpiuk, handouts.
                                                        Procedure
I.Introduction
T: Good morning, boys and girls. There are a lot of question marks on the blackboard. Answer my questions and then you can read the topic of our today’s lesson.

5)How are you?
6)How old are you?
7)Where do you live?
8)Are you from Ukraine?
9)What is your lucky number?
10)What is your  favourite colour?

So we can read the topic of our lesson. It's collecting things.
II.Warming-up. Phonetics.
T:Let’s train the sounds:

T: Now, clap your hands if you hear the sound [ʃ]  
Think, she, shell, theme, sea, palace, sweep, should, shampoo, expensive, short, show, French, ship, toothpaste, shop.

III. Vocabulary practice.
T:What can people collect? Let’s make up a mind map.

         My little sister collects dolls. Her collection isn’t big. She has got four dolls. But they are beautiful.
         I have a friend. He collects comics. He has a good collection.
