Тема уроку: Нова квартира
Мета:
Практична:  повторити і закріпити лексичні одиниці тем «Квартира», «Меблі»; вдосконалювати навички вживання лексичних одиниць у граматичній структурі I can/can’t; навчати описувати помешкання, використовуючи конструкцію there is/are
Освітня: розширити уявлення учнів про помешкання англійців.
Розвиваюча: розвивати мовленнєві  навички учнів; розвивати вміння ефективно працювати у парах та групах. Розвивати  логічне мислення, мовну здогадку,творчу уяву,фонетичний слух та правильну вимову.
 Виховна: виховувати любов до своєї домівки та виховувати  інтерес до вивчення
    англійської мови
Тип уроку: комбінований.
Підручник: М. Ростоцька, О. Карп’юк  “English-4”
Обладнання:  підручники “English” 4 клас М. Ростоцька, О. Карп’юк, робочі зошити, мультимедійна дошка, ноутбук,тематичні картки, картки з листом про будинок,плакат  Our activities map.


                                                           Procedure
I.Introduction
T: Good morning, boys and girls. 
Oh! Look! What’s this? It’s an umbrella. Now listen
Red, yellow, green, blue
I am glad to see you
T: Now your turn.
Red, yellow, green, blue
We are glad to see you too.
                                     Oh great!!!
II.Aim.
T: The topic of our lesson is “A new flat.” Open your copy books and write down.
Look here . It’s our activities map . Today we’ll speak about the rooms in a flat, read a letter, watch video, do a project, write, sing a song, play games, learn a proverb.
II.Warming-up. Phonetics.
T:Let’s train the sounds:
[ tʃ ] kitchen, chair, armchair
[ k] caught, kitten, Kitty
   
T: Look. It’s a tongue-twister. Listen  and try to pronounce like me.
Kitty caught the kitten in the kitchen.
                                    Excellent!
III. Vocabulary practice.
T:What rooms are there in a flat?

                                        Good job!!!
T: We can do a lot of activities in a house or in a flat.
T: Repeat after me:

VII. Reading.
T:Look here. Who can you see?
T: Yes, this is a boy and his name is Mike. How do you think how old is he? What has he got in his hands? ( a letter)
T: Let’s read it.
  Hi! My name is Mike. I live in Liverpool. Liverpool is a large city. I live with my parents and my two sisters. And we live in a new flat. It isn’t very big. There is a kitchen and a sitting room in my new flat. There are two bedrooms. There is a bathroom. We bought new furniture last week. I love my new flat! People in England  often say, “East or West, home is best”
T:Now read the sentences and say true or false.
